HumanSystems® and the Canadian Centre for Product Validation announce collaboration agreement to fuel product development innovation
HumanSystems® Incorporated (HSI®) and the Canadian Centre for Product Validation (CCPV) are pleased to announce a collaboration agreement to deliver usability testing services to further expand the comprehensive array of product testing services now available to companies at the CCPV’s new testing facility at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
“Establishing user requirements and independently testing usability during product design and prototype development are critical for market success,” says Bob Webb, President of HSI®. “People are a core component of every system and how they interact with a system directly affects performance and market acceptance. Usability testing significantly improves the likelihood that new products will meet the needs of all intended users in terms of form, fit and function.”
“Working in partnership with an industry leader like HSI® brings additional service offerings to our clients, and ensures their products are validated with the human interface in mind,” notes Ben Cecil, CEO of CCPV. “HSI®’s experience in usability testing combined with CCPV’s dynamics and functional testing capabilities makes for a very powerful team to help advance products to market.”
The CCPV was established in 2016 to bridge the gap between innovation and commercialization through product validation. Usability testing complements existing CCPV capabilities in electrical, mechanical, environmental, and thermal validation to provide a range of services and testing unparalleled in Canada.
The collaboration agreement allows both HSI® and the CCPV to offer clients complete turnkey solutions for all their product testing requirements.
